1. Information NebulaGems handles
NebulaGems is a single-player puzzle game. It keeps a small set of information on your device so the game can remember your progress between sessions: your chosen Drifter name, avatar selection, completed levels and stars earned, current Spark balance, daily reward claim status, and any upgrade tiers you have purchased with in-game Sparks.
A device identifier may be used locally for basic app functionality. NebulaGems does not ask you to provide an email, phone number, real name, address, payment details, contacts, photos, location, or any other personal information.
2. Where the information lives
All gameplay state is written to standard on-device storage (the kind of storage used by every app on your phone). It is scoped to NebulaGems and visible only to NebulaGems on that device.
- Profile, stats, and Spark balance: on-device key/value storage.
- Settings (colour-blind glyphs, reduced flash, grid guides): on-device key/value storage.
- Onboarding completion flag: on-device key/value storage.
3. How long it is kept
The on-device information is kept for as long as NebulaGems is installed on the device. Deleting the app from your device removes the on-device storage that NebulaGems created.
4. Your choices
Because every piece of saved data is on your device, you can reset it by clearing the app from your device, or by reinstalling NebulaGems. The app does not provide a "delete account" button because there is no account to delete.
5. Children
NebulaGems is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes to this notice
If the way NebulaGems handles information changes in any meaningful way, the updated effective date at the top of this page will reflect that. Material changes will be highlighted in-app on a future release.
